Left is the logo file on each pub's own website, shown at its real pixel size on a dark box because most of them are white. Right is the profile picture on the pub's own Facebook page. Click a link under either picture to open the source.
Google wants a square logo of at least 250 pixels a side and recommends 720. Only one of the 57 website files clears that bar, and only one pub, Hoop and Grapes, has a proper square logo loaded in Yext today. The rest are small header exports, so Google flags 56 of the 57 pubs as having no logo and shows none on the pub's panel.
What we need is the master file for each logo, or one square export per pub at 720 pixels or more. Then we load them through Yext once, and the same logo goes out to Google, Apple, Bing and the rest. If Facebook is switched on in Yext as well, the Facebook page picture can be kept in line from the same place.
Sizes were read from the live files on 1 and 2 September 2026. Nothing on any listing has been changed. Joe Mullane, Pub Agent Limited.
